Akka, Scala & Microservices

Last year I accumulated some bucks with Bonusly and I converted it into 5 sweet books.

Now they just arrived!!!

I already started my studies in Scala and Functional Programming. I have finished the Functional Programming Principles in Scala course on Coursera.

It was very hard, at first. Thinking in terms of recursion, immutability, high-order functions and pattern matching was really tough, but you get used to it and you realizes that writing code in functional style is much more fun than just object-oriented.

Besides that, I've been working with Akka Actors since 2013, in Java. Now I want to learn Akka Streams in Scala, focused on building microservices, pipelines for data migration. It seems pretty cool. So, let's study.
